Acquisition brings ownership of complementary technology under the Agility® umbrella and establishes direct presence in Scandinavia
Agility Multichannel, whose Agility® Product Management for Commerce software empowers brand manufacturers, distributors and retailers around the world to conquer the complexities of multichannel commerce, today announced that it had acquired Axpa, its longtime support, services and technology partner based in Malmö, Sweden.
This acquisition will bring technology that is already used by several joint customers under Agility Multichannel’s ownership and will integrate the highly experienced Swedish team with Agility Multichannel’s global customer and partner services team.
The technology brought under the Agility Multichannel umbrella includes an integration tool for linking Product Information Management (PIM) to ERP and merchandising planning systems; a campaign planning tool for use by marketing and creative teams; enhanced tools for integration with and automation of multi-site and global digital assets workflows, and enhanced publishing workflow, including automation, versioning and review.

The new entity will be called “Agility Multichannel Sweden” and will be based in new offices located in Malmö, Sweden.
