In a recent interview conducted by The Group of Analysts, Agility Multichannel CEO Richard Hunt applied the aeronautical concept of Center of Gravity to how and where companies manage their content. In his view, too much content management in back-end systems, like ERPs, can lead to stalls. Too much content weight in the kinds of front-end marketing applications that have proliferated in recent years can cause nose dives. To rebalance Content Gravity and to achieve « straight and level » flight, a stable, central and neutral “Content Hub” is a critical requirement.
